The acai berry has one of the highest proportions of natural antioxidants of all berries currently studied. It is vitalized by a high content of various minerals such as potassium and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and vitamin E and important trace elements such as copper, calcium and potassium.

Acai berry

The acai berry is a dark purple to black berry with special antioxidant properties. In the Amazon, the berry is considered a traditional food. The acai palm grows up to 30 meters high and produces about 50 kg of the berries per year. They have a mild taste. The berries have a nearly 30 times higher content of anthocyanin (OPC) than grape seeds and are rich in omega fatty acids.
